Greek Nacho is a comedy metal band from the United States. They released their debut single entitled, "Pull My Finger" on November 5th, 2019. The band routinely satirizes anti-intellectualism and chauvinistic behavior by frequently misspelling rudimentary English words on purpose, particularly words ending in "s", which they change to a "z". For example, "Greek Nacho rules" becomes "Greek Nacho rulez". They then defend their intentional stupidity with a mocking dogmatic hubris that is widely misinterpreted as genuine.
Their debut single "Pull My Finger" encompasses that satirical boisterous pride. In the song, the narrator recounts a night in which he soiled his pants. Rather than being embarrassed by such a thing, the song is self-congratulatory. The song pokes fun at the chest-thumping inherent in many metal tracks by making the topic of pride defecting one’s self, rather than having money, or courting women. The song is the group’s modus operandi. They deal with exploiting the absurd or inappropriate, and treating it as normal and commendable.
