Not really much is known about the man producing under the name “VHS Glitch”. To be sincere there could be a little mystery behind it, that creates a part of VHS Glitch’s charm, besides his great music. He stepped into the world with his debut album Eveil Technology in April of the year 2014. Since then VHS Glitch gained a lot of attention in the synthwave genre. He released since his birth, 4 albums, 3 OSTs for 8bit retro-inspired Videogames (Space Spacey, Demons with Shotguns and Chrome Death), 1 EP and 6 single releases.
There is a rumor, that this artist was previously known as an artist, that today mysteriously disappeared from the synthwave scene.
VHS Glitch describes his music as it follows: “Synthesised music artist & composer for games and visual media.” This artist is not only a fantastic composer and producer, but a terrifically talented graphic designer, too. A complete powerhouse, 100% retro-fantastic.
Taken from his only biography you can find on FB you can read, that “he was created to save humanity from the mind-controlling grasp of modern technology, technology which seeks to make you all forget the past. Stored on a special VHS cassette tape and placed in a VCR programmed to activate at this specific time, I am here to keep the spirit of the 80s alive with rad tunes and totally bitchin graphics.”
