Tim Wightman was born and raised in the Bay Area and attended Foothill High School in Pleasanton. His love for music started at age 14 and by age 16 he was writing lyrics. Brought into the world from a deep family tree of writers he is very much a gentle and unassuming man who perfects his ways of being anonymous in the crowd. His deep passion for the countryside, the hills and rural places are often reflected in his lyrics. Wightman also has an uncanny accuracy for writing words about those closest to him, mainly relationships of many types or even friendships. Today he resides on the rural outskirts of Brentwood/Oakley area in Contra Costa county. He writes when he feels about what he feels self isolated in his own domain. Despite a brief 1 year stint in Arizona, Wightman maintains that the Bay Area is very much his home forever.
