Forming late 2009, Mallory Knox initially formed as a creative outlet for the 5 members of the band. Collaborating their various influences, Mikey, Sam, Joe, Dave and James set about writing music that they wanted to hear themselves.
After three months of writing, the band began to play shows and establish their name in the local music scene. After quickly establishing a loyal fan base, Mallory Knox went into the studio to record their debut EP, entitled “pilot”. The release of Pilot a few months later built the boys fan base and reputation further and gained them substantial notice within the industry.
MK quickly became more than a local hometown band; playing across the country on their first tour with Never Means Maybe, as well as being endorsed by Rockstar energy drink. They released their first video “Oceans” which reached as high as number 2 in the most requested Scuzz chart.
After the success of "Pilot" Mallory Knox went on to establish their sound and go on to writing their first album. Growing as a band over the two years, Mallory Knox were set on a sound that they all really liked . They went into the studio and recored and finished the album in early 2012. However it didn't go on to be released until the beginning of 2013. However this didn't stop the boys taking some great festival gigs and releasing videos for "Hello" (not an official video but a fan/live footage video), "Death Rattle" and "Wake Up" at the end of 2012.
In January 2013 Mallory Knox kicked off the year with the video for "Lighthouse" and then finally released their debut album entitled "Signals". The album has been well recieved by all so far, reaching number 33 in the Official Album Charts UK. The album is building them a bigger and bigger fan base. Gaining them a support tour with Don Broco in February, a headliner in April, as well as slots at Hit The Deck Festival and Slam Dunk Festival. Mallory Knox have also been confirmed to open main stage at this years Reading and Leeds Festivals.
