The band started when most the members were in their senior year of high school and got noticed through playing local shows in their area.
The original members were Josh Hershey (vocals), JB Brubaker (lead guitar), Brent Rambler (rhythm guitar), Matt Greiner (drums), and Jordan Tuscan (bass).
The vocals were taken over by Josh McManness in 2004 but he was replaced in 2006 by Jake Luhrs (the current vocalist). The bass was taken over by Dustin Davidson in 2006.
The band denies playing Christain music, however many of their lyrics are laced with religious context however they are not always about necessarily embracing religion, as some ask the listener to question their faith and religion as a whole.
