In my opinion the lyrics are extremly contradictory and weird:
The Melodie of the song and some strophes are kind and encouraging, some as "your pretty face" and "don't let anything bring you down". But there are some odd stuff like "We only want what's best for you That's why we tell you what to do", that could be a quote of Kim Il Jong or some other crazy dictator. "You're just like us without a friend" sounds really rude in my opinion, but I'm not a native english speaker, so perhaps I don't understand the real meaning... To the end he sings that everyone should go there own way, be therself and form their own opinion, but on the other hand he tells us "Try not to say anything weird" and "Try not to focus on yourself". I like the melodie but the lyrics seem to be totally crap!
