And finally, when this song was written, men in drag were funny looking, hence the "laughter" that "she" inspires. Could be the singer of the song is smitten by Celestial, or had a relationship with "her," and now agonizes over it--but in the end, he says it "meant nothing." Like most of BOC songs, they are shrouded in an element of mystery.
