This song has been an apt description of my struggle with my feelings towards someone who hurt my wife. Ever since what happened, I have felt a wound in my heart, and a darkness when I think about this person. I've often likened it to when Frodo was stabbed by the ring wraith, and it left it's poison in his heart.
Listening to this song brings me some solace as I try to forgive and move on.
