To me, it seems that this song is about letting go of everything that's holding you back. Of embracing what's to come, rather than being afraid of it.

It certainly does have that element feeling of death that alot of their songs have, but I tend to think of that in light of the phrase "In death, I am reborn." I may be wrong, but thats how I feel about this song.
What really drives that home for me is the chorus.
"Tightrope stop walking the wire,
With lack of euphoria,
Tightrope stop walking the wire and fly."
