Original chant is in Latin and refers to shepherd boy who found himself in a manger gazing upon Jesus, talking to Mary about being poor and having nothing like the gifts being brought before the baby by Wisemen, etc. He was assured by these same Kings that his heart of love and true faith were the greatest gifts of all. And so, he gave his heart in loving awe to the llittle baby Jesus!
