i never really thought about any particularity deep meaning of the song until now.
from my perspective the song was always about having a friend who you're close with and ending up sleeping with them or at least fantasizing about them to an extent in a 'guilty pleasure' sort of way. to me the song is about lusting over someone you shouldn't or someone who is pretty innocent and then feeling dirty and wrong because of it, and you know youre no good for them. its about an animalistic need and trying and failing to fight it.
i see the song as some kind of inner monologue from that persons small but pushy dark side, that has been hidden away because they know its wrong. the song feels like that persons own little secret thoughts and i love it
