I decided to take a closer look at some of Ke$ha's Lyrical content recently. I chose to listen to "Wonderland" on her album "Warrior".
The song opens up talking about how she and her friends/boyfriend were living off of practialy nothing, living in her car just bumming around living the her version on being a teenager without a care in the world. After the first verse, she talks about how she remenbers the good ol' days and how times goes by really fast. She wants to go back to the place where all of her memorys took place. She calls this place wonderland. Kesha talks about to girls she knew. How one girl she knew had a child, and how the other girl hasnt gotten anywhere with her life and still working for very low pay, living from paycheck to paycheck, They used to get together (kesha,Carrie, and Julie) but it isnt the same now that they are older and have matured. Kesha goes into the chrous talking about the good ol' days and how she wishes she could go to the place where all of the memorys happend, but she cant find the road back to wonderland.She also mentions how they didnt know what they were doing and how she would run if she wouldve had the chance.
