Anyway, in my opinion the song is no question about drugs... The title is perfect. In nature, Lava is awe inspiring to witness first hand, a rush of sorts (not unlike the hot rush from taking certain drugs). But once lava gets out of hand, it can be quite destructive. Also, as lava cools, it hardens and more and more lava and rock build up on top of it, representing addiction. Each verse represents a different drug. The first is alcohol, 2nd marijuana, 3rd coke, 4th heroin, and 5th is meth. After certain "gateway" drugs like alcohol and MJ, one just wants to get higher and higher, building up more and more of an addiction to harder and harder drugs (alluding to the lava build up once again)... Thats how i feel about the song anyway...
