Lyric discussion by sloth666

Oh, so good to see this lyrics here, thank you! Struggled with this song a lot, and still I'm not totally glad with what I figured out. Correct me where I'm wrong, please. Here's what I heard so far:

Everybody's got the right to go Daytripping at the quarter of the moon the bus stops on a mountain top and the villagers are playing a traditional tune

And she got us on the former truck She got stuck, picking up the ?leader? The ?candyland? will take you to a simpler time ??If that you will mind??

You gotta pay for the fast mature lunch money for a week and a half the squad money is good and secure and a uniform not good for a laugh

I bet you swallow in a fashion tie now if you're slipping on back on time On the mail, I picture you in a magazine If you let me in your time machine

Another week and it's time to fly You're back home in the blink of an eye You daytrip with a chemical tea that you haven't had You can call it that

Another year and you're back again You're just a flick to your figurative friend The candyland will take you to a simpler time If that you will mind

Everybody's got the right to go Daytripping at a quarter of the moon the bus stops on a mountain top and the villagers are playing a traditional tune

Ancient goddess in the form of a truck She got stuck picking up a liter The ?candyland? will take you to a simpler time If that clear your mind

You gotta pay for the factory tour lunch money for a week and a half it's a hard ??????? spirit spill and a uniform not good for a laugh
