To me personally.. I think the song represents death.

"The story of a matchstick girl" - a reference to the tale of the matchstick girl who lit a bunch of matchsticks as it was cold, she had nothing else so she imagined beautiful things in the warmth of the fire before she passed away.

"Here comes the blackout" - Blackout.. blacking out of consciousness.. world turning dark?

"Now the hooded snake controls your mind" - Possibly reference to hoodie wearers... - the speaker has been attacked and is giving a warning of 'hoodie' people that seem kind at first but are actually aggressive snakes? (stornoway is also based in the UK which is common for those types).

"You got a swiss army in your pocket" - swiss army knife? maybe for protection.. or the speaker is speaking to the "hooded snake" and describing it's weapon?

Maybe the speaker is speaking to someone trying to defend themselves or someone who has defended themselves and is not going to survive.

The beginning could be explaining the idea of death.. "arrivals" being arriving at deaths door.. as it's only you who knows when you are there. "all on your own in the arrivals".

And the "screen" could suggest like a hospital screen or morgue screen?

Not sure about the eye part?. :). Anyway that's what i got from it.

Maybe the eye is suggest that we should think about our actions and our conscientious conscience?

XD.
