There's an internal conflict for the writer of this song. She feels some sort of irony and ambivalence. She knows what she's capable of doing, of whats "about" to happen. She feels sympathy for one guy whoever that "he" is. The mundane yet so deep understanding of lust. And how it converts itself into "love" and something seriously beautiful. It speaks volumes of Spears' ability to constantly reinvent herself through love.
