That silly Across the Universe movie was to the Beatles like JFK the movie was to the JFK assasination--just revisionist history, BS. If it was about the war, why wouldn't it have been more obvious. John didn't disguise his opposition to that war, why would he do it in song? It is probably about heroin, or maybe Yoko, and how his love for her was both a great thing in his life, and yet also a huge burden, because he knew their relationship was tearing the band apart.
