Well for a general non-All Time Low based meaning... couldn't it just be about how music comes and goes, changes the way we think letting us change and realize new things and giving us a chance to do things over.
Also the two different sections are kind of like those "there are two kinds of people in the world..." Those who want to be anything but themselves, and those who just want to fix whats wrong, and change little bits.
The first part is more desperate, trying to lose everything about themselves, while the seconds knows that can't happen.
