i love otep, and each time i really listen (yes i can understand her screams) the lyrics they are always...well kinda deep. This sounds like it proposes that pagan religion (the worship of Gods not a God) all around the world was taken over by a new God

kinda sounds like the return from Christian to Pagan, turning the halo into forest horns both things that are related to Christians and these ancient cultures mentioned.
