it's definitely about revenge; he's in a relationship that's gone wrong and having problems ("wide awake, my mistake so predictable") and that's he still thinks she's pretty and stuff but she's not worth all the trouble she's caused him ("pretty face but the chase ain't worth the prize") so as revenge he's gonna break her heart.
