by FAR my favorite KOL song. don't get me wrong, I'm not one of those OBtN haters (i still listen Sex on a daily basis), but their new stuff just doesn't sound as dirty and raw as their older stuff. And that's what they've always been known and loved for. But now with the commercial success of OBtN, one of two things will happen.
1) They will continue to make radio-friendly jams
2) They will say fuck it, we've made a lot of money and let's do things our way now.
I, personally, hope the latter is the road they take. But something in me says that they're going to be like anyone else in their position and take the money.
Anyways, still love KOL and adore the song!
I agree with you, and I too don't hate the new material. Hell, it's how i found out about them but I fell more in love with their older sound. The raw, ass-kicking, southern, dirty sound they had was rocking. Wish they'd do more of that.
