I don't get all the hate, seriously. Yes, the lyrics may not be wonderful, but it's a fun song. Music has different definitions for everyone. People have different opinions. It's not because you disagree with them that it makes you right. And it doesn't mean by liking this song we "contribute to the state of the music industry as a whole". Give me a break.
