I have to disagree about this being white society ignoring street crime. I do think it's about the government's indifference to street crime, though. Granted, government officials are predominantly white but I don't think Ice T or anybody from Body Count were targeting white people specifically...it's more of a song towards anybody in government who ignores street crime, no matter who they are.
