Especially the bit about burying her head in a hole and covering her eyes during scary scenes. It sound like she wants this person to step in and do the opposite of what she knows they'll do. I mean there's a reason why she left this person in the first place. but thats the thing that's so hard about relationships. Being "thirsty" for that person even after things don't work out.
