It's like, if you never have had to undergo an operation, when you see people on TV and they aren't awake but they squeeze their hands or flutter their eyelids or something, then I think it's when she's in that state. And somebodys calling her name because they've seen her move, but she can't verbally respond, so she's getting frustrated and "trying not to be jaded".
it's an amazing song about what she went through. It was a while ago, though. I remember making a get well soon card for her when I was 9! Lol :]
