I live in an apartment so I can relate to the line "apartments are cages, i still don't know what is permanent."
because at least for me, living in an apartment is like a cage. you can't be too loud, you can't hang up anything on the walls, the walls are bare white, it feels more like a prison then a house. I see a house as permanent, and an apartment as just temporary.
