i think its about how overwhelming death and tragedy is. The whole song sounds like a dream, like maybe someone died and the speaker can't believe they're really gone.
It's like going into shock when someone you love passes away-wanting them to wake up, and knowing they wont, and the hopelessness that accompanies those thoughts.
I LOVE this song. Dir en grey gets better and better. I think Kyo should chill a little with the screaming though, the songs would be just as beautiful without it, and its starting to strain his voice.
