This album is quite different from what I can tell so far. I'm listening to it for the first time right now and am only on the fifth track, but it's very different in my opinion from all they've done before. I don't think "Starting Over" is therefore about suicide like a lot of fans are used to. I think it's about JD's disease, part of the time he's freaking out because he thinks he's dying and part of the time he's getting a second chance at life. It's not over yet.
Is it just me or does this new stuff sound vaguely like the music that JD did for Queen of The Damned? Kinda darkly mystical or something?
@devilslittlesister It is indeed about JD's disease, specially, his fatal blood disorder that put him in the hospital while KoRn was on tour and thus, several vocalists ended up filling in for him on certain songs. JD almost died from the blood disorder.
