I just listened to this song for the first time, and it really got me. At first I was just like "Whoa this is cool song" and then at the end of the first chorus when it said "But you've gotta tell me where to begin" I felt it was more than just a cool song and it touched me because I can really relate to it right now.
I think its about a guy who really likes a girl, but she is with another guy. When it says "You've been living it up with someone else
And that's ok with me" it means he is fine with that because he's willing to wait and when it says "Because I know it and you know it too" i think it means that she knows she likes him back but she's either scared of how it might end or confused about what to do.
As a side note, the part that says "I've been saving up to buy more time
with you
You've been living it up with someone else
And that's ok with me" I think relates to me the most. It really touched me when I heard that part. lol
