I'm not convinced that it represents anything beyond the need of the film DR9. There are interesting ideas about the holographic nature of reality highligthed here. I should point out the contradiction of 'holographic entrypoint', as every point is the whole.
There are many ideas of conflicts, by the numerous oppositions (knife, cut, flense, occidental vs oriental, north vs south, the disposition of the stenzas and the cutting of verses by commas, nature vs humans, ground vs see). It is seen also that the conflicts are resolved eventually by their unity.
All in all a very intellectual piece, which for being so visceral in description lacks the actual appeal to the real stuff, ie my gut.
I've been told to always say something positive if I must criticize. I would then say this piece belongs to a poetry collection. It is a well crafted but the wording and intent are confusing for most people. Singing this cannot be easy. In a poetry book however, true seekers would rejoice at such a find.
