I heard it on Q101, it sounded like a great song so I got it off of Itunes.
Basically, I agree w/ redstar.
But from a perspective of if you hadn't read the interview, this is what I would say.
Every day is saturday night, go out, party, have fun. Almost ignoring the fact that life and time continues around him.
He says,"It's the same thing, back in the cold
People know people come and go
It bores me"
Sounds like to me hes tired of the party life now, and he can't wait till Sunday morning. Assuming he's Christian (w/o reading the interview), its a chance at redemption, to start again, but I can see it's an empty promise, he drifts back into the party scene. He goes back for the music, for a certain women maybe, but most importantly because he can't stop. There's something he feels he's missing something, and the hollow Saturday scene seems to keep him around for the time.
