I love how she makes references to everything in her songs...it makes them so much more interesting that she references things like Biblical stories, or authors and movies, and etc.
Anyway this is one of my absolute favorites (aren't they all..)
It's just a really perfect description of what happens at the end of a relationship and you're frustrated because you miss the person but you don't want to go through all of the circles it takes to be just friends again...you don't want to go backwards.
