It is Iron Maiden, only Adrian Smith is singing (mainly). It was originally performed at a secret gig Adrian and Nicko did with some friends called "The Entire Population of Hackney", after the gig Steve Harris (Maiden bassist) heard the tape of this song and liked it. Maiden then recorded and you're right it is a bit fruity to be Maiden so it didn't make it to an album instead it's the B-side to Wasted Years. Yes I'm very sad lol.
