I actually think the video makes perfect sense symbollically. Til was seduced by the girl to kill her family in the video, the girl knowing full well that he would be killed for doing so. She sent him on a suicide mission so she could get something that she wanted. Which is what happens in the song. A girl sends a boy up a mountain to get a rose, and a rock slipped and he fell to his death, just for something as trivial as a rose. In both cases the guy was just trying to please a girl. The song is about how blind some people can get when they fall in love, and it can actually lead to their demise.
