So, the song could be about that as well, perhaps a place he liked to visit back when he was younger, or judging by the lyrics and other comments, about a girl he met while he was there.
Though I wouldn't think of Sonata Arctica to sing about somehting as tacky as a holiday romance, so perhaps it's something much deeper than that!
