what i find most interesting about this track is the improvisational sound used in the background. The sounds were made up of people in the studio wailing, banging coconut shells on tile floors and throwing a coke bottle into a metal trashcan.
Those techniques used for the recording process would have been quite revolutionary in the recording studio for 1967.. I know Bowie improvised sounds in the studio, shuffling about in a box of gravel on Please Mr Gravedigger in 66' and this was just classed as downright bizarre for the era. Thinkin' these two were well ahead of their time..
