This reminds me of my boy friend. We were together about a year ago, and i dumped him because of all the things he was into-alcohol, drugs, sex like crazy (sep when we were together). It hurt him so much, he looked back on himself to see why i did what i did. He realized he wasn't going to go anywhere in life if he kept this up. So he changed....alot. Now we're together again, and sometimes i ask questions about how he used to be, but he looks like he's about to cry because of how much he regrets doing all that. I had him listen to this song, and he started crying. He said something similar to what CaptainSaturation said, that there's always a chance to start over.
