Well, this song reminds me of high school crushes (which don't always confine themselves to your formative years.) You know, the kind that aren't necessarily destined to last, but you can't help but diving in head first, without a lifeguard.
It reminds me of a 'simpler time', when cynicism had yet to sneak into my nascent conception of love. If you don't still fall irrationally, head-over-heels in love from time to time when that right someone comes by, i pity you (and envy you.)
but then again, i'm trashed right now, so take this all with a grain of salt.
