Lyric discussion by RTBRAND1

I think this is a big ironic song.

The song is called O Green World, but the way the music plays as well as the lyrics, suggest nothing but technology and how its taking over.

"Bring me back to fallen town. Where someone is still alive" is like saying, take me back to the country/farmlands b/c the city streets run rampant with soulless zombies.

"I'm made of you and you of me. But where are we?" is like saying how technology is connected with our lives but it'll never be the same as human contact

"Sells to lie. Phone to talk...Cause it seems so little to you". is like talking about how commercialism ruins us. This particular stanza makes me think of big business and really rich people who can lie and make huge profits off the crap they sell. Phones w/ talk you stars are like cellphones. Cause it seems so little to you i think refers to life w/o technology.

"but now you're in love, you know..I hope sex and drugs rust into myself, holy. It feels holy...it feels like you're with your father in the place you lave..." is saying how technology has finally become a part of us. Maybe the greatest human contact, sex or even drugs will some how end up as part of technology. It feels holy is like saying, it feels like we're in heaven just b/c we have all of our stuff.

At least, thats what I'm thinking.

Ok first of all I think that the line about "fallen town" meens he wants to meat someone who's alive and not a "souless zombie" in the city. Second of all the line "made of you and you of me but where are we" means that earth is nothing without us (organisms in gen.) And we are nothing without it but then the universe is so big, dos it count for anything ? And the line sell to lie I think is "cells to life , from the darkest stars".

Last thing is the last few lines I think are "but still if only" like he's trying to say something but then dosnt bother trying
