It makes me think of a guy who thought his girlfriend wanted to sleep with him but really she didn't,

and now she won't have anything to do with him and he's freaking out because he loves her and all he wants is to make her happy but she thinks all he wants is sex. And he's getting upset and asking God what it's all about because he had no clue why she won't even listen to him and how he misread the signs so badly. And he knows she still loves him really
