Placed in context, this track follows 'My Wings' which ends saying "I got the blade; change your mind; I'll make you stay", and preceeds 'Cold', which opens with 'Skin so cold, I knew you'd go away; And now I put you down to lay; Nothing to feel for you, This was our last dance'. Which on a quick reading might be taken to mean that the singer is threatening their lower, and kills them (end of My Wings), retreats into themselves on realising what they've done (To Myself I turned) and then returns back to find their lover cold and dead (Cold). I'm pretty sure it's a metaphorical 'kill' and 'dead' that is intended, although I'm not certain.
