Lyric discussion by DarkerShadeofWinter

Taken from their webiste [adventwrath.com]. This is what Jack [their lyricist / vocalist] said about this song, considering he wrote it:

"Life of Solitude (Confinement): It is about being in search of something, something to take away the horrible feelings that people go through on an almost daily basis. And after finding that something to make you happy, how you would be willing to have eternity with whatever it is. Throughout the course of the song you get an idea of just how hard that search can be, there is violence, happiness, upsettedness, depression and ultimately acceptance that the object you look for is unattainable.

Quick story, in late August, 2003 I got very sick and spent a long time in the hospital recuperating, and I was gone for almost a month and was unable to practice with the rest of the band. As soon as I got home I asked the guys to tape some of the new stuff they came up with while I was out. The tape included the instrumental track to Deeds Left Undone, Haunted Tranquility, and Indiscretions, and I quickly got to writing, and just as quickly we had three new songs, so these are really special because I never thought I could even be alive to write them."
