I noticed the sound coming from behind my dresser, and looked only to see my cat with her head sticking out from under the bottom of the dresser. I called my mum into my room yelling that Critter was stuck and making noise. We pulled her out carefully and took her outside. What I think was happening to her was that her lungs were collapsing and she was trying to breathe. A couple hours later, while I was giving her a hug to say good-bye, she died. In my arms.
This song reminds me of that because when I started school, I wanted to go home and give her a hug. But all that was left of her was the three kittens she had a bit before she died. So to me, this song reminds me of that.
