I first really listened to this song shortly after Sept. 11, and the line "Everyone cries for the innocent, but you say to love the guilty, too" really hit me. You know, forgiveness is so powerful, and at such a difficult time in our nation, forgiveness was the last thing on some of our minds. But God doesn't want us to be bitter about our loss. He wants us to turn the other cheek and forgive our enemies. That's so hard, but if it were meant to be easy, everybody would be a Christian.
