Im amazed that there are so few coments about this song, its one of my favorites by marilyn manson.
While I agree with a lot of what aGirlCalledAutumn said, I also think thats its kind of about a relationship which fucked up because of things beyond their control.
Either that, or life has affected them badly and left them unable to completly love someone else and because of this the relationship failed.

I think the line "Just remember, when you think you're free, the crack inside your fuckin heart is me" means that the time she spent with him has kinda changed her in a bad way and because of that she will never be completely rid of him
