Alright monkey is somewhat right and so is furtado but I think there is more to the song and the video. He is talking about himself and his relationship with God. The video seems is kind of like a modern Noah's Ark story...the flood, the animals and it seems as if him and possibly his family is the only ones being saved. Then when they are on the bus thats when they are on the "ark" The storms over they come out and see the sun shining and live happily ever after.
