"Blue Moon" as written by Richard Rodgers and Lorenz Hart....
Blue moon
You saw me standing alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own

Blue moon
You knew just what I was there for
You heard me saying a pray for
Someone I really could care for

Blue moon
You saw me standing alone
Without a dream in my heart
Without a love of my own

Blue moon
Without a love of my own

General CommentThe lyrics are presumed to refer to an English idiomatic expression: a blue moon is either the second full moon in a month or the third one when four full moons occur in one season of the year, which is a somewhat rare occurrence. If something happens "once in a blue moon" it happens almost never. The narrator of the song is relating a stroke of luck so unlikely that it must have taken place under a blue moon.

General CommentFor me he if we dig deeper he must be talking to the but not literary talking. He brings out an idea of having a friend in the presence of the blue moon, who can witness all his sufferings. I think that's the one.

General CommentThis site is bogus. You only get a FEW song titles and THEN ts up for grabs hat interpretation, if any, sounds good to you - NOT what the WRITER f the song had in mind!!

On Silent Running alone, there are as many interpretation as there are hoses in a sub division. Useless.
