Crossing some creek or small river somewhere in north, northwest boder of Germany, something like that. Uhm, Yeah, I think its _____ there something to the right, right, right, yeah. Yeah, I don't know, man. The morale here is pretty fucking low alright. I think we might be breaking up. No, no, not that it's what's best or anything, but I, uhm, it might not be a matter of choice, you know. Uhm, yeah just, yeah, right, right, just uh, just see what you can do on your end about sending in some help and in the meantime I will just do my best to keep losses and such kept to a minimum here. And if there's any, any sure way to secure a sort of refuge where the folks are more friendly, so whatever, right, let me know, or anything else, anything else, let me know this first.

Laughing at your good advice
Formula unfolding city wide.
Cycles overtaking form and file.
Erased in spite of your good advice.
Defaced and tired of your good advice.

General CommentEric Bachmann told me that the sampled sound in the beginning and middle was a drunken recreation of an actual phone call he had made to management (or Alias or something) on the Vee Vee tour. The band was struggling and mulling over the idea of a breakup. He heard his own message later, found it amusing, and they recreated it in the studio with Brian Paulson (who found the actual answering machine message too "clean" sounding).
Regardless, this has to be my favorite Archers song, ever. Just gorgeous, shimmering guitars and a great melody.
