Distance is up.
Static is down.
And all the east coast,
Has burned out.

Save for me.
Save for you.
There's nothing here
The BBC.

Sleep in shit, and stinking too.
Freezing point, free to choose.
I woke up dead, in my bed.
Too much shit in my head

So I could never,
Think of you again.
No I could never,
Think of you again.

And there's a sign,
That it's all mine.
And there's some reason
That I might find.

I got some plans.
To follow through.
To find something
That I could do.

It's always the east coast,
Always the asshole.
Doing the right thing
At the wrong time.

Hanging half drunk,

So I could never,
Think of you again.
No, no, I could never,
Think of you again
No, no, no, no I could never,
Think of you again.
No, I could never,
Think of you again.

General CommentI think part of this song is describing some kind of post-apocalyptic scene, in which the east coast has been torched. But then the singer is mentioning some chick he can never think of again. Perhaps some nuclear warfare or WWIII is the only thing that will get her off his mind.
