Slow Change

With fear comes laughter
and I'll hold it in yet another
slow change I unwillingly begin
we breathe the same ocean
of words what will be the lessons
tossed upon the waves I've
earned.
Cause i don't know what's left
falling out of my plans fade
away the memories are going
stronger stance and I don't
know what's left falling out
of high plains roll on with the
passing thunder crashing still.

Tears fall faster when I'm
low within yet another slow
anticipation wears me thin
if we sustain the stones unturned
what will be the path that's
left for us when we return.
